How to upload a board cover to your Pinterest Boards
We all want that overall cohesive brand look, we pick the right colors for our website, we make a cohesive Instagram feed, we get a logo that fits our personality and brand. But what about Pinterest? There are so many tips on how to find the right keywords and get in on the right group boards, and all of these things are also the most important things (you can read my 10 tips for creating traffic from Pinterest to your blog right here) but having a nice cohesive Pinterest board profile will also attract new followers and make your profile in line with the rest of your brand identity.
As part of my series on how the get the most out of Pinterest (you can read about how to claim your website and verify it with Pinterest here) when you are a beginner, I will now make a tutorial for you on how to upload a board cover to your Pinterest boards.
How to upload a board cover to your Pinterest boards:
- Start by going to your Pinterest boards and find the board you want to upload your cover to. A Pinterest board cover works best if it is square, I use 800 x 800 pixels size for my board covers and that works perfectly. Click on + to upload a new pin and press create a pin.
- Add you board cover and remember to give it the same title as your board, also remember to add some text with keywords on what this pin/board is about. As I have described in my 10 tips about Pinterest post, you can find the keywords by simply searching for it on Pinterest and lots of suggestions will come up. As for the link, I always set to link directly to the board. And then you click publish.
- Afterward, you go to to the little pen on the board to edit your board and go down to change cover
- And then you click on the arrow until your image shows up, click save and refresh and then your cover will appear.
